‘SUCH A BEAUTIFUL SPACE!’

WIPER & TRUE: NEW TAPROOM SOCIALS

I mean they call it work but quite honestly getting to spend a day with one of your fav Bristol-based breweries filming the opening of their beautiful new tap room, is that really work?

THE THINKING

We knew this was the perfect opportunity to go beyond just filming the launch event — it was a chance to create a full suite of branded video content that Wiper and True’s internal marketing team could use across social media for months to come.

Like most breweries working within a limited budget, they needed maximum value from a single shoot. So we suggested making the most of having a small video production crew on site early. That meant capturing additional shots — slow motion pours of a variety of beers, product shots of cans on the bar, clean wides of the space before guests arrived — all designed to boost the content library without boosting the cost.

Visually, we wanted to reflect the fresh, minimal brand aesthetic of Wiper and True. The video production style was clean, bright and natural — mostly using available light to give everything a soft, authentic feel.

All edits were designed with a social-first video strategy in mind, including a short promo for YouTube that could also be embedded on their website for wider use.

To keep the content working long after the event, we proposed uploading the graded rushes to our Video Asset Management (VAM) platform, Arcd.cloud, so their internal team could access, repurpose and create even more content from the shoot — whenever they needed it.

THE BRIEF

The brief on this one is quite simple. The team at Wiper and True wanted to capture the opening of thier new taproom space.
Smiling faces, groups of friends, the beers, the bars and the vibes.

THE OUTPUT


We turned filming an event into a video content supershoot. Not only did the crew capture a perfect launch day video, with people having a wonderful day in this beautiful new space.  The sun shone, the people smiled, the beer flowed.  It was dreamy!
The best outcome for the Wiper and True marketing team was the amount of footage we shot both at the event and in the space before it opened. They have really maximised the use of this footage and made it work hard for them and it still gets great engagement.

This one-day shoot with a small 2 person crew has probably seen the best ROIs of any project over the last few years. Why?  Because the team could see that a smaller increase in production budget for the shoot day and a subscription to Arcd would give them social content that they could use for several years. Win-Win!
